After an interview on NPR, I immediately ordered this book--sad to say, I realized in Chapter 1 that I disliked the author!All she does is brag, boast, and list her creds.. Repeatedly and endlessly.If I had to read the # of times she was on TedTalk and the size of the audience listeningone more time, I would scream!Her story is not about male or female...it's all about him and then her. “As A Woman: What I learned About Power, Sex, and Patriarchy After I Transitioned” (2021) is a profound and powerful, deeply inspiring and beautifully written memoir written by Reverend Paula Stone Williams (1951-). In addition to being a transgender person, the main focus of her life centered around evangelical Christianity where she worked with the (seed) Orchard Group that created the “mega church” across America. Little did Paula know that after her announcement to transition (2014) from male to female, she would be fired and lose her career within the church during a period of seven days!Paula has attained the highest level in psychological education earning a Ph.D. in pastoral counseling.
